The hour after
Most of our leagues run at or beside a venue with a bar, and post-game specials are a standing part of the arrangement. Teams that would never have met stay for one and end up in the same league the following season.
It is genuinely optional
Nobody tracks attendance and nothing depends on it. Plenty of players go straight home, and that has never cost anyone a place on a roster.
The league is the excuse. The hour afterwards is the reason.
